This book is for anyone who needs fresh faith and fresh hope when problems seem insurmountable.
When Faith is Enough is the story of a missionary family living in the wilds of Africa before the days of modern medicine and Internet communications. The family must rely on God and God alone - when ships sink, civil war breaks out, children are feverish with malaria, money runs out, and their African neighbors ask for help in solving seemingly insurmountable problems.
This book is for anyone who needs fresh faith and fresh hope when challenges seem too great to bear. As the story unfolds, each chapter contains an illustration of the essential principles of faith. The reader cannot help but be inspired and encouraged to apply these principles of faith in the many challenges of life.
Fern Willner’s When Faith is Enough is a joy to read. This is a fascinating personal account of a woman of God and her missionary family, and out of their story emerges a wonderful outline of the essential principles of faith.
Faith is a God-given gift to all of us and we need to hear what the Lord is saying to us through this book.
Fern Willner’s remarkable journey is both a challenge and a faith builder. I highly recommend it.
